Visit my studio from Spring 2026 where I will be running a series of class options & workshops both for the beginner potter and those more experienced.

ONE TO ONE TUITION

1 : 1 – Beginners Throwing Class

Learn the basics of throwing, starting with how to prepare your clay for best results on the wheel. By the end of the tutorial, you will be able to centre the clay to throw at least one vessel, hopefully more, which you can collect later after it’s fired. The vessel can be slipped by you on the day, or you can choose an in-house glaze colour, so I can finish glazing your piece for you.

Included: All materials, tuition/ demos, firing and glazing.

Cancellation: Full refund on cancellations within 2 weeks of the course start date.

1:1 – Intermediate Throwing Class

If you have some experience of throwing, this course offers more focused one to one tuition by the hour. Book for as long as you want to learn. Whatever issue topic or vessel you want to explore in more detail we can tailor the class to suit your learning needs. Examples to explore could include: how to spiral wedge, centre clay more efficiently, throw bottle necks,
cylinders, bowl forms, or simply start throwing with larger amounts of clay.

Included: All materials, tuition/ demos, firing and glazing.

Cancellation: Full refund on cancellations within 2 weeks of the course start date.

OPEN STUDIO SESSIONS

Open studio sessions are exclusively for those that have previous experience of ceramics and are looking for a space to work in. The wheel is available for use if pre-booked, however, the sessions will predominantly be for hand building.

You can continue to explore your creativity and spend time with other potters whilst enjoying cups of tea and yummy cake. I am available to offer support, advice
and guidance when needed.

Clay, surface decoration and firing will be charged based on the materials used; size and quantity of pieces you choose to make & fire. Bring your own clay, if it requires different firing temperatures to Cone 7, we can discuss pricing on a one-to-one basis.
